The National Housing Awards returned for its 12th year on Thursday 6th September to celebrate excellence in home ownership at the Grosvenor House Hotel. Strettons' Development Consultancy team attended the awards and we were pleased to have worked alongside a number of the award-winning schemes.
Here are just a few of the schemes we were proud to be involved with, and which were nominated for their respected National Housing Award Categories.

Best Marketing Campaign: Peabody - Merchants Walk

Merchants Walk: Peabody's mixed tenure regeneration in the heart of Bow, London, delivered 413 new homes (50% affordable), including 118 affordable rent homes for local residents. The campaign generated 5,845 enquiries, an incredibly low cost-per-lead of just £38.11, and sold 95% prior to completion.  

Best Small Scheme in Planning: Notting Hill Genesis: Shakespeare Road

Notting Hill Genesis: Providing a collection of 22 individually unique shared ownership homes, Shakespeare Road is a stunning development in Ealing, West London. The sustainable residential development was planned to enhance the local environment and community, from its architectural influences to meeting the need for well-designed affordable homes in the area.

Best Partnership: SiteSales Property Group and Barnardo Development Ltd – Nick William from Mullaly, involved in construction work for this scheme

Barnardo's Garden Village: Originally created as a sanctuary for young homeless girls, it has grown to become one of the capitals most innovative redevlopke3mt projects. In partnership with Barnar4do Developments, SiteSales Property Group has delivered 210 new homes. The development has been designed to help meet local housing needs by providing a selection of homes, suitable not just for first-time buyers, but forgotten families, who couldn't afford to purchase outright in the borough.

Best Design: Network Homes – Kilburn Quarter

Network Homes: Kilburn Quarter is a defining development in the £600m regeneration of South Kilburn. Transforming two post-war tower blocks into four smart blocks surrounding a courtyard, the scheme has helped create an inclusive community. The blocks are a mixture of social rent and private sale homes, creating much-needed housing for local people.
