David Farrington - Strettons

David Farrington, BA (Hons), MSc, MRICS

David is an Associate Director in the Valuation and Advisory Service at Strettons where he provides valuation and lease advisory advice to a wide range of clients in respect of commercial and residential assets.

A graduate of the University of Reading, he holds an undergraduate degree in Ancient History in which he achieved First Class Honours and a Masters in Real Estate.

A Chartered Surveyor and an RICS Registered Valuer, David joined Strettons in May 2026, having previously worked for a number of different firms both in the private and public sectors. Most recently he worked at Glenny LLP, providing valuation and lease advisory advice to clients. Before that, David worked at Kinney Green, providing valuation, lease advisory and CPO advice to clients. His career has also seen him work as a property and asset manager.

David began his career at Ardent Management Limited where he acquired a strong insight into the world of CPO. Whilst here he gained experience acting for both Acquiring Authorities and Claimants.

David has good knowledge of both occupier and investment markets across London and the south east. He has strong experience valuing a diverse range of assets in the office, retail, industrial and residential sectors.

David is also a strong negotiator and problem solver whose aim is always to try and achieve the best results for his clients.

Outside the office, David can be found on the cricket field between April and September. He also enjoys foreign travel and spending time with his friends and family.
